This policy explains what information Desert Acacia LLC, doing business as HomeTech Vegas (“we,” “us”), collects through hometechvegas.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re a small local business, and we try to collect only what we need to help you.
Information we collect
When you request home watch service, we collect the information you enter in the form:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your city or neighborhood
- The type of property, the visit frequency you’re interested in, and an approximate start date
- Anything you choose to include in the optional message
Please don’t send door codes, lockbox combinations, alarm codes, or other access details through the website. We arrange access with you directly.
When you call, text, or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
Technical information. To protect the request form from spam, we store a one-way, shortened hash of your IP address alongside your request. We don’t store your IP address itself. Our hosting provider also processes standard technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the website.
Cookies and tracking
Our public pages don’t set cookies, and we don’t use advertising, analytics, or social media tracking tools. We don’t allow third parties to collect information about your online activities over time or across other websites through our site.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and talk with you about our services
- To schedule and provide the services you ask for
- To keep the website and request form secure and free of spam
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores request form submissions.
- Slack receives a short notification when a new request arrives, so we can respond quickly. It includes your first name and last initial, area, property type, visit frequency, and start date. Your email address, phone number, and message are not included.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our business, or others.
How long we keep it
We keep request information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide services, and maintain our business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).
Your choices
You can ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing hello@hometechvegas.com or texting (702) 602-9007. We may need to confirm your identity before making changes.
Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law (NRS 603A). You may still send a request to opt out of any future sale to hello@hometechvegas.com, and we will honor it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. If we make a significant change to how we use personal information we’ve already collected, we’ll let affected customers know directly.
